Folks Center for International Business
The Folks Center for International Business is the hub for global business education, research and leadership at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. During my time at the center I created new branding materials that presented a clean and professional appearance.
Inversion Brew
Inversion Brew was a project to create an eco-friendly, portable way to try new flavors of coffee. Inversion Brew allows you to enjoy new or familiar flavors of coffee by using a disposable, single-serving size pod that only requires hot water.
US Postal Stamp Set
While they are not as commonly used as they once were, postage stamps are still an important part of society. The client requested that I create a series of 4 cohesive postage stamps, following a single theme. I chose to create a series of informational stamps detailing structures built during previous World’s Fairs.
Pictoplasma
Pictoplasma is a yearly art conference covering contemporary character design. The client requested that I create a series of physical and digital ad materials for Pictoplasma 2020. I created a mascot character for the conference, then using that character, I created a series of integrated ads including city banners, merchandise, and a website homepage mockup.
Winners by Design: Alter Ego
The Women’s Soccer team at the University of South Carolina were looking to produce a second volume of their collaborative newspaper called “Winners by Design”. The theme of the newspaper was to be “Alter Ego”. I created a logo, as well as a cover to represent the new theme. In addition I created a page spread for one of the players, Taylor Fox.
Ad Council Campaign
I was tasked with creating an integrated outdoor and responsive digital campaign for the Ad Council. This council promoted visibility of a “Blue Law”. The law chosen is from the state of Ohio, and states thus: “No person shall dye or otherwise color any rabbit or baby poultry, including, but not limited to, chicks and ducklings. No person shall sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, raffle or give away any rabbit or baby poultry which has been dyed or otherwise colored.” This PSA campaign incorporated a series of billboards as well as a mobile & desktop site.
CORSAIR Ad Campaign
CORSAIR is a brand now well known for their PC Gaming accessories, as well as their PC components. The client requested that I create an 8 page brochure, as well as a series of billboards. I used CORSAIR’s publicly available brand guide to keep my designs within their branding standards. I used their standard color scheme of yellow and black, as well as sharp angles and geometric shapes.
Queer Eye Magazine
Tan France is a member of the popular show “Queer Eye”. For these three magazine spreads, the client requested that I create them with experimental use of typography. Keeping this in mind, I created a design that represents the style of not only Tan France, by that of Queer Eye as well. Using InDesign I created three layouts for a magazine themed around Queer Eye / Tan France.
